Awww,

Everyone on my dash is trying on their old dresses. Makes me wish I had kept all my old dresses to try on. :-/ I actually have my junior prom dress, but I’m not sure I have my prom dress (which I super duper loved cause my mom made it for me) since my cat (who was banned from my room for a good long while) peed on it. I coulda sworn we got it cleaned but I can’t remember what we did with it. (We being my mother and I.)

Well, in case I ever find it, this is a before picture of my senior prom dress:

This was May 2006, I was 17. No, the dress was not really that red. It was a darker maroonish color. Yes, I have no shoes on. They had us wait, for what seemed like forever, on our feet before we were let in with the tables. I think every girl kicked off their shoes at that point. I loved this dress. (I hate this picture, but I love that dress.)

Hopefully I’ll either find that dress or buy one like it for something and we’ll see how it looks now. :)

Went to my training for DrugStore (went back and changed the name in my entries just in case, haha). Another super nice and laid back Store Manager. All we did (two other new-hires there as well) was listen to him as he went over policies, asked any questions, and initialed that we understood. The only “No Tolerance, Fired After One Incident” they have is selling tobacco to minors since the police do those secret store checks and all that. Fun. Other than that, it’s really laid back and seems like a great atmosphere.

I’m just excited. I’m excited to be in a new place with new people. I’m excited to have new customers and new regulars and to see how this atmosphere is different and the same as my other jobs. I’m excited to learn things.

I’m excited, haha, to see how I keep up with working out now that I have a job. I hope with the right motivation and encouragment, I’ll stick to it. I will. That’s what I’ve got to see. No ‘we’ll see’. No ‘maybe, maybe not’. Just

I will.

I think this is my year.
