Time to get back on track.

Last week: 180.8
This week: 181.0

I’m actually surprised it’s only a .2 gain. But not at the same time.

This past week has been so up and down that I will take and enjoy the .2. Because I’m hoping it’s the last gain for a while. I’m now getting back on track. After starting a new job and dealing with almost skipping a weekend with Dave, I’ve been putting food and working out on the back burner. No more. They get put front and center. Even went grocery shopping today (finally!).

Oh, so, no pancakes yesterday. Why? Because I had a veryveryvery bad banana yesterday morning. Dave and I went to drop his mom off at work, and on the way back, I ended up throwing up in a plastic bag in his car. And it wasn’t just yellow banana, it was pink pepto bismal too! So, it smelled like banana flavored pepto the entire way back… which smelled gross, just in case you were wondering.

And he cleaned up my puke. That’s love, I tell you.

Right after, I felt better. I think I just needed to throw up and get it out of my system. Then I had McDonald’s french fries (I know! But his sister had them and they smelled good and I was worried I wouldn’t keep anything else down!).

Today, I had work until 4pm, then treated myself to some frozen yoghurt, where I met Nikki and we talked since we haven’t seen each other in a while. We talked about everything. And she actually understood that I would be off track with the whole new job and changing schedule thing. But now it’s time to get back on the track (literally and figuratively).

Ending on a very positive note: I’m only working until 4pm for Memorial Day (Dave and my’s one year since our first date). So I’m actually going to see him ON our one year instead of at 2am the day after.

Happy day.
