Excuse me while I pass out.
I’m sorry this is going to be long.
Busiest two days ever.
Picture this.
It’s 4pm on Monday, I’m racing out the door of my job. Get in the car, yes I’m speeding (not too much, but enough). At each red light, I lose or add a piece of clothing. First, I lose the DrugStore shirt. At the next, I add my blue dress (see last post) over my red tank top. The third, I maneuver the red tank top off under the dress (so I don’t expose anything). At the next, I take the straps off my bra. I pull into the train station about three minutes before my train. Kick my sneakers off, throw them in my bag. Hop out of the car, pull my pants off under my dress, toss on my flipflops. Leave the DrugStore shirt and pants in the car, grab my bags, and power-walk to buy my train ticket. Race up the stairs in said flip flops, making it onto the train with only two seconds to spare.
My one and ONLY problem with the dress: When I was walking from the Subway to the Shuttle, my thighs started to burn because they were rubbing together. Luckily, I didn’t really have to rush after all the rushing for my LIRR train. Other than that, I loved wearing the dress. Even having to fix it every time I shifted on the train was fine.
Dave liked it too. He tends to like anything that makes “easier access”.
Got to Drew’s BBQ around 7:30pm. Was weird since my sister, Ashley, and her girlfriend, Katie, were there. It was their first time actually being there with us and Dave and Drew’s friends. Met a few people I hadn’t before. Oh, and Nikki introduced Ashley to everyone as “her friend”. One friend, Kevin, was confused when Ashley kept saying “When’s my sister getting here?” because no one realized that I’m her sister. He ended up going, “Your sister’s coming? Wow,” and Ash had to explain that her sister is Dave’s girlfriend who he’s met. Haha. :-P
It was really fun. About twenty minutes after I got there, I got to play beerpong. Vin (a CT friend I’ve met once) asked me to partner up with him against Dennis and Duff (I hope I’m spelling these right). Vin kept talking in the Arnold Terminator Voice, which was awesome. And I actually drank beer. Coors Light. Not the best, but Nikki says I can work my way up.
I was drunk by the end of the night. So was Nikki. We kept saying Happy Anniversary to Drew and Dave and each other. Haha. I was so happy that we all got to be together for our One Year.
Dave and I ended up leaving around 10:30pm. I was exhausted from work and being drunk. Not too exhausted it seems though. We had the most intense fooling-around session since we started dating. I was thisclose to saying yes to sex, but at the same time, I don’t want to be drunk for my/our first time. Ya know? But let’s just say we both want to do what we did again very soon. I have a light hickey on my neck (easy enough to cover up) and a few more intense ones… lower. ;)
Unfortunately for us, we had to then wake up around 8am to go into the city with his mom. He’d bought her tickets to Rock of Ages. So, we planned to go into the city, see the King Tut exhibit, have dinner at Patsy’s, and then I’d head to Penn and catch a train home while they went to the theater. And it worked out exactly like that. Luckily it didn’t rain like it said it was gonna.
The King Tut thing wasn’t really, well, my thing. It was interesting, but I’d already told Dave that if his mom wanted to go, we’d go. It was her birthday outting. After that, we went to Patsy’s, which was UBER-expensive, but amazing. The waiter, Diego, had actually lived in Bridgeport (CT) and knew where Dave’s town is (most don’t).
Then I showed them how to get back to the theater, and how to get back to the Shuttle after their show. They dropped me off there. Dave and I started kissing goodbye, and I thought his mom was behind us (and therefore couldn’t see us in detail), but turns out she was moving and ended up taking a picture of us. Umm, blush.
I’m considering my walking in the city my workout for today.
So, it was an amazing ‘weekend.’ I didn’t go overboard with the food, and I got some type of exercise in when usually we’re on the couch or bed all day. Heh. :-P
A warning for tomorrow though: I got a new scale. I like it cause it measures BMI as well, but it seems there might be a +1 or +2 pound difference. Which sucks cause it might put me back in the 180s. Bleh. I’ll just cross my fingers for tomorrow.
Yawn. I think that’s it. I’m exhausted. Hope everyone is having an amazing Tuesday. :)
